BME Engineering has grown out of Bruce MacNeil’s 30+ years of experience as a geotechnical engineer in Nova Scotia.
Early in his career with a large firm, Bruce became the “go-to guy” for handling a wide range of projects and project issues. Clients soon learned that he could solve their problems by taking the time to understand their circumstances and find a positive way forward.
Soon Bruce established a bedrock of trust with developers, engineering firms, and architects throughout Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. That’s the foundation on which BME has been built.
Today, our team of engineers and engineering technicians serves builders from throughout Nova Scotia, completing more than 200 projects a year.
Most of our clients come from the private sector. They need to move quickly and want a partner who’s nimble, collaborative, and gets things done.
We're based in Bedford, where we have our own lab for materials testing.
